WHY MEDIAMEN MUST NOT ACT AND THINK LIKE CORPORATE MANAGERS?

MEDIAMEN, if you will behave like MBA brand clerks, you will be doomed.

Be yourself and you will become Media Conglomerate.

It is so ridiculous to see that some Actors/Directors/Technicians have begun to behave like corporate clerks.
You all are independent creative professionals and if you will be bogged down by some typically dressed media illiterate in a corporate media house, you hardly have a future as Media Professional or Media Entrepreneurs.
Biggest dream a newcomer Director or Actor share with me these day is, “Sir please tell me, how to have a job in EKTA KAPOORS company or how can I have a job in a channel?”
These all fools wish to take media as a career and wish to make it safe like a counter manager’s job in a Reliance or RPG retail chain. Sadly these fools will be disappointed for life, as they will be exploited as a corporate pimp by every corporate Media company in the town.
When I stared at a TV Channel Creative Director, straight in her eyes during a story discussion, I found that, there is an actress inside her, and that is why, she is interpreting the story as an actress and not as a creative Director.

If you are a creative entrepreneur , you should never behave like corporate clerks for a simple reason that no investor or financer will ever trust you with their money ,as they know that only very crazy and adamant individuals can make commercially hit cinema or TV Series, it’ not a cup of tea of a mediocre middle class job seeker.
A Creative Entrepreneur will never be bogged down by anyone, whether it is Anil Ambani or some real God. AS a great Actor or Director knows that he is the only GOD of his projects.
Most of the highly successful creative individuals have never bothered about a Hit or Flop , mind you I am not talking about Ramgopal Verma, who went on sliding from a creative Filmmaker to a “D” grade AAG and DARLING maker ,just to prove himself a corporate factory and to make some corporate clerks happy. If you will also begin to think like a RAMU, you will also become a DARLING maker , as you will begin to make films, as per choice of corporate financers and not as per your conviction , I have got calls from T-SERIES honchos that “ SIR DARLING WILL BE GOLDEN JUBLEE, AS IT HAS TREMANDOUS SEX ?”
Gentlemen and Women I wish to inform you that there are billions of hours of BLUE FILMS with far more better quality and with 500 times sexy women than ISHA DEOL are available democratically to every Indian , than why the hell anyone will go to watch a haggard looking daughter of Hema Malini and Dharmendra and uh soooo ………flop Fardeen Khan ?

Trust me If you make a film according to the sensibilities and deeds of corporate clerks and call centre Boys and girls, you will end up becoming a Ramgopal Verma. Instead of a RAMU, look at ANURAG KASHYAP [BLACK FRIDAY] or brilliant Anurag Basu [ Murder, Metro] , these two gentlemen suffered like a hail but they never gave up their beliefs in their projects, and that’s why they are best selling Directors of the day.
More recently, it is SHIMIT AMIN, after AB TAK CHAPPAN, he has proven with a CHAK DE that he is Discovery of the decade.
So lessons are as under;
1] Never try to copy other people and their films.
2] If you are not 200% confident of your talent as an Actor or Actress, go back to some call centre or retail chain or join any MBA course.
3] As a Filmmaker, look at yourself as a GOD of your project , this confidence and quality will attract you fantastic Investors.
4] Never design the project to please illiterate corporate Managers, as you will end up making a AAG or DARLING and creatively die as a Ramgopal Verma.
5] There are some prostitutes, who earns more than president of India, so what? Are you going to copy their style and pattern of business? No. Than Why you copy the mannerism and mentality of corporate mangers?

MEDIA Entrepreneurs; “THE END” of a Enterprise never exists

There are few points for all those , who never consider, defeat in a battle ,as final defeat in War.
Always remember;

1] After every defeat, just have a walk in dirtiest of slum , you will immediately thank your STARS, your GOD , what we would have done , if we would have born in a gutter and never ever had any opportunity to do anything in life ?

2] People spend, most of the life ,thinking about what they do not have , for a change , let’s count our blessings ,let’s count all the blessings of life, which we have.

3] Who are our ideals and whom we are following?
Generally, we face defeat, due to compromises and mediocrity, only a forth night back I have warned my family , that a certain insurance agent must not be seen around 15 meters of me, “ What is the use of principals and friends, if we can’t exploit them.”
Do you entertain, people with such thought around you ?
I recommend, never do that.
4] All over the world , there is a community , known as Middle Class, even if you belong to such family ,even if you are in dire financial mess , never consider yourself a Middle or Lower or Higher Middle Class. These are the highest order of stupid’s, who can neither do anything, nor see their brothers/sisters doing anything.
They will connect your success to crime and your failure to their prediction. God never willed to have such mediocre in this universe , than why you associate yourself with such people , who have only three aims in life ; Eating , Shiting , Sleeping and criticizing others . Who have done nothing for anyone but feel that they have the right to criticize everyone, there connection to world is TV Soaps , Shows and News .

5] Always crystallize the company you seek and company you are really in. Whether its family or friends , better to be lonely ,in prayer ,in meditation ,this will certainly attract you better circumstances and friends.

6] Never Give up Dreaming and Thinking;
Always remember, keep your thoughts, synchronized with lost ambitions, keep that ambition burning as a life mission, and keep adding more things to do, even if you have no resources, trust me, if you can just nurture the dream, everything else will be added unto you. One day you will realize, dreams are bigger reality than reality.
